mission impossible

Hi

Can any one help we are leaving Washington DC to come to Boston we would like to drive from washington to boston, but here comes the but!!! on the way we would like to to visit Gettysburg, a shaooping outlet and see cape cod, does any know of route that would cocver this. As I ay mission impossible but if you help yes please

mission impossible

I would definitely call it mission impossible if you plan to do this entire route in 1 day. If you can split it up to include at least 1 overnight, it%26#39;s more manageable. Washington to Gettysburg is less than a 2 hour drive. Gettysburg to Cape Cod is an 8 hour ride. Which shopping outlet do you plan to shop at? You will definitely need to split it up into segments to best enjoy each area. I would do Gettysburg then drive into Connecticut and sleepover. Head to the Wrentham Village Outlets (if that%26#39;s the one you want to go to) which would be around 2-3 hours from Conecticut depending on where you end up there. You could continue on to Cape Cod from there. It%26#39;s less than 2 hours to the start of Cape Cod from the outlet. You would once again need to sleep somewhere at some point on or near Cape Cod that night. So, is it sounding like mission impossible yet? There is NO way your going from D.C. to Gettysburg to Shopping Outlets to Cape Cod in one day. Ideally you would want 3 days and 2 nights, but you could do it with a 1 night stay.

Yikes.

Have you mapquested this? (www.mapquest.com). There%26#39;s the time it takes to do all that driving PLUS the fun (irony here) of driving through NYC. Yikes. Then the Cape is a total side trip. It%26#39;s doable but.. give yurself plenty of time.

You can drop down to Wrentham if you come via the Pike into MA (there are at least two ways to get to Boston from NYC. One follows 95/the coast and the other goes up through CT and gets you onto the Pike). The Wrentham Outlets are off of 495. If you follow 495 to the end, you get to the Cape, but ... that%26#39;s a LOT of driving. How long do you expect to spend on the Cape?

The Cape, if you bother to go see it, deserves at least a couple of days. It%26#39;s lovely. You%26#39;ll want to avoid weekends if you can possibly do that. Summer weeknds are more crowded...
