You wanna go clamming?

I responded to a thread about clamming on Cape Cod. The original is in the Cape Cod forum under ';clamming trips.'; There were a few responses suggesting I lead a clamming trip.

I%26#39;m thinking about the logistics and how it would work, but in the meantime, who wants to come? I%26#39;m not looking for anything except maybe making for some happy visitors.

Respond to this post or email me direct at highseasharry at yahoo.com.

You wanna go clamming?

HighSeasHarry, I sent you an email. Are you still planning a trip for novices? I%26#39;d love to go and will be in Falmouth June 1-3, leaving the morning of the 4th.

Hello Harry

As I read this post - it brought back fond memories of childhood days - stamping our foot at Wollaston Beach and seeing the little squirt and digging with our hands for the clams - we never took any home as we did not know how long they would last.

I would love to go on a novice trip now.

Just let us know - it will be a treat to take some time and kick back

Thank you

Kate

PS Does anyone realize the private message of TA is shutdown I think it was hacked today

There%26#39;s been a problem everywhere on TA. Someone was using the pm feature to initially ask for travel advice, and then they were offering free Bahamas cruises or something. No pm-ing all day.

Something goofy is going on...for the past few days my TA has not looked the same. All the links are in blue, others words a re black everything on white background. I thought it was weird, then I realized I could access the sight if I scrolled down quite a ways. I don%26#39;t know, maybe it%26#39;s just my computer, but it%26#39;s a pain!

I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s your computer...I think it%26#39;s TA. The advice has been: Don%26#39;t click on any unusual links; there%26#39;s more info on the New York City forum (there%26#39;s a thread about SPAM).

Thanks, fussyquest. I%26#39;ll be careful about how I use this site. It makes me sad that something like this can get messed up by malicious people.

Hi HSH -- Last year you sent me a detailed post about how to go clamming. Thank you. Are you around the last couple of weeks in August to lead a trip? I see that there are fears of a red tide problem again this year.

Yesterday, WBZ said that the red tide has moved down from Maine as far as Newburyport. I don%26#39;t know what the implications are for Buzzard%26#39;s Bay. I also thought the red tide mouved ';up'; on warmer waters. Live and learn.
