Hi I have one more question%26gt; sorry
I was looking at the New Port vineyard today.
Has anyone been there. It is a very young vineyard, and it looks like a great place. We love wine also.
Now to the question? If we decide to go there how much time do we need and how do we get there without a car.
Suggestions of best options. Thanks alot
New Port
My suggestion is to avoid all New England grown wines. We just don%26#39;t have that ideal soil and climate for producing great wine.
As far as New Port Vineyards, I haven%26#39;t heard of them.
New Port
The vineyards are in Newport, Rhode Island.
Newport is approximately 90 minutes south of Boston , a car would be recommended but you can reach Newport by bus.
Newport is a very nice place to visit.

Hi,
I can%26#39;t speak for ALL New England vineyards, but some of my favorite wine is from a Rhode Island vineyard, Sakonnet Vineyard in Little Compton. Their Rhode Island Red is a wonderful wine. It%26#39;s hard to find in Boston, so I usually take a road trip there once a year and pick up a case.
It%26#39;s not far at all from Newport (no place in RI is far from any other place), and it%26#39;s a beautiful setting.

BeanTownman,
I just visited that website and they seem to have a very good selection, which one is your favorite?
Hi,
As I said, my favorite is the Rhode Island Red. It%26#39;s not too dry or too sweet, and it has a nice fruity aroma and flavors.
