Looking for family friendly hotel on beach with kids club

Hi - Does anyone know of any family friendly hotels / resorts on the cape. I am a single mom and this would be for myself and DD8. We would probably be staying for about 5 days.

I would prefer the following? Offers family friendly activities that we could take part in together (like scavenger hunt, bingo, movies, etc), have a Kids Club where she can go for a few hours and maybe I can go to the spa/read a book/just have a few hours of quiet time, and lastly, I would really prefer being right on the beach.

I have found the Red Jacket Beach Resort and this seems to have the types of things I am looking for, but I was wondering if there were any other options on the Cape.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Tapple, this months Parents magazine has an article: The 10 Best Beach Resorts for Families. They list Ocean Edge Resort %26amp; Spa in Brewster as #8 the piece mentions scavenger hunts, beach fires with smores, soccer %26amp; baseball. Etc the website is oceanedge.com. Good luck!

You might call the Seacrest Resort in Falmouth. Not sure about kids clubs but it is right on a beautiful beach. The Cape Cod Children%26#39;s Museum is nearby and Woods Hole has an aquarium and Ocean Quest tour.

Also, Sandwich has the Heritage Museums with it%26#39;s carousel and gardens.

The Red Jacket Resorts in S. Yarmouth all have nice kids programs. These include the Riveria, The Blue Water and the Red Jacket resort. Our daughter loved them! They are all right on the calm waters of Mantucket Sound

I am also a single mom %26amp; have stayed at one of the Red Jacket resorts for 4 summers now. It is the Green Harbor Resort. It is right on the water and offers kids activities for all ages. I have four children and have gone since my kids were 2,5, 8, 10. It is a very safe area. The ocean is right next to the outdoor heated pool and the rooms are right there also. Full kitchens allow you to sit at the pool or beach and feel comfortable w/ kids running over to the room for snacks, lunch ,whatever and you can stay put. There is a kids club, beach walks, BB, shuffleboard, rowboats, swingsets, bikes and a long stretch of beach right in front of you. I%26#39;ve never had a problem with noise at night and the staff are great and very responsive. There is only the outdoor pool but the other three Red Jacket resorts are only a few miles away and you can use any of their facilities for free when you stay at another. This is great on rainy days so the kids can go and use the other indoor pools! good luck
