Hi, does anyone know of any guided walking tour of MIT? I have found the walking tour of Harvard but not that of MIT. Thanks
MIT walking tourGoogling ';MIT tours'; produces this link:
web.mit.edu/infocenter/campustours.html
MIT walking tourThe previous link actually has more to do with touring the campus as a prospective student than it does as being a casual visitor. There%26#39;s nothing to say that you can%26#39;t join one of the tours, just that the info given will have a different focus. They tours begin inside the main hall at 77 Mass. Ave.
However, the MIT website is filled with amazing info. Check this link out:

This is a great campus map of the Institute%26#39;s Public Art Collection. The List Visual Arts Center, located in the lobby level of the Media Lab oversees this effort. Stopping in there, at 20 Ames Street, might be helpful in getting further info. They have limited hours so check their website.
