renting kayaks

Howdy,

Staying for our fourth year at Raw Bar Cottage (it%26#39;s heaven!) and want to rent a kayak to explore Stage Harbor.

Any ideas? I%26#39;ve only found a place in P-Town, which seems like a long way to haul a kayak!

Thanks,

-Tamsen

I couldn%26#39;t find anything in Chatham, but there%26#39;s a nice place to rent from in Orleans called Goose Hummock. A lot closer than P-town!

I do not believe that the Goose Hummock will deliver a kayak so you would have to haul it down Rt. 28 to Chatham. If you are interested in a group tour of Pleasant Bay or Nauset Marsh take a look at http://www.explorecapecod.com/

There are small kayak rental agencies around I%26#39;m pretty sure. Maybe fussyguest, who is the biggest fan of Chatham on this board can help you out with information. If you decide to kayak in Nauset Marsh let me know and I%26#39;ll give you more information.

Hi...we love kayaking in Eastham. We have used RideAway @ 508-247-0827 and Castaways Marine @ 508-255-7751. Both deliver and pick up at the town of your choice.

I%26#39;ve only kayaked (is that a word?) in the Society Islands off the beach of a tiny motu. Fab trip. Long sail on a slow boat. I%26#39;m a big fan of Tahiti too!

I found this online:

It%26#39;s at the end of Barn Hill Road in W. Chatham. All details are on this website.
