Driving from Cape to Copley

Hi all - Im studying the maps here, we%26#39;re driving back from the Cape and need to get to Fairmont Copley. Am I correct that I want to get off of 93 at Exit 20 (and then on New Frontage Rd to Berkley) or do I stay on until Exit 24 (which looks like a bunch of spaghetti exits!)My fear is to wind up underground somewhere and no way to get out!

Secondly, returning from the Fairmont to the airport via subway - I see the stop at Copley is the green line...I need to go green to red to silver line? Seems easier in a cab Im thinking (but please correct me!)

I%26#39;ll let someone else tackle the driving question. (When I go to Copley, I%26#39;m usually coming from Mass Ave, up through the South End, but there are other ways to go.) Someone else is more apt to have a more informed opinion. I typically drive in on weekends when the traffic situation is different. If you%26#39;re driving during weekday rush, the route matters more.

Returning... the subway is easy but not as easy as a cab. You could take Green to Gov%26#39;t Ctr to Blue line to Airport (imo faster than green to red to Silver. Silver is very nice but I think also slow.) I don%26#39;t mind taking the T at all and consider it a kind of adventure, but if you%26#39;re looking for easy-breezy, the cab is the way to go. On the T, you have to consider the weight of your suitcases (there aren%26#39;t always working escalators or elevators), the size of suitcases (huge bulky ones will be hard to fit), the time of day (rush hour crowds make it more difficult ... that sort of thing. However, if you%26#39;re traveling off-peak times, it%26#39;s quite pleasant to roll your bags onto a T car, zoom to the station, board a shuttle to your terminal... for 2- it%26#39;s a great deal.

Yes, take exit 20 onto Frontage Rd. Frontage to E. Berkeley to Berkeley to St. James.

E. Berkeley will be a left off Frontage. The sign is well marked but look for the Mobile Gas Station off to your left.
