I just booked a room at the Seaport Hotel...only to find out parking is an additional $30 a night. Does anyone know if there are any other lots around the hotel that may be cheaper?
Seaport Hotel
The lots around the Seaport Hotel are $24 for overnight parking, so I would just stick with the hotel. Parking rates are just high in Boston and you have to figure it%26#39;s part of staying in the city.

Seaport Hotel
Depending on the length of your stay and your budget, you might consider a hotel outside the city that has free parking.
$30.00 isn%26#39;t bad. The Mariotts are charging $34.00 to self and $44.00 for valet...at least the one at Copely.
I originally had the La Quinta in Somerville booked but I thought it might be too far out...reading a couple more reviews I guess Boston has a great subway system. The price between the two is about 60 if you include the parking. Any opinions on either would be great...
While the Seaport Hotel is not in the Downtown Area, you can at least walk to the Waterfront and Downtown if you wish, which you wouldn%26#39;t be able to be able to do from LaQuinta. It%26#39;s also a better hotel. I%26#39;d stay in the Seaport if those were my only choices.

I don%26#39;t know the LaQuinta, but there is a Marriott in Quincy that has free parking and a shuttle to the T, but it is a 30 minute T ride into the city.
