We%26#39;ll be staying on Cape Cod during the week of June 8. Are advance reservations for whalewatching cruises out of Provincetown recommended, or is traffic light enough during that week that we could wait to pick a nice day and not have trouble getting tickets?
Since one of us (me) has an issue with motion sickness for which I%26#39;ll be medicated, is there a predictable time of day that the sea is calmer but at the same time a good likelihood of whalespotting?

Whalewatching During week of June 8
The wind usually kicks up in the afternoon so early morning and early evening are the calmest. As for the whales...you pay your money and take your chances. We use Bonine rather than Dramamine for sea sickness....it causes less drowsiness. You might have to hunt around for it because not all pharmacies carry it.
You probably will not need advance reservations but I believe that you can make them for the Dolphin Cruise and pay when you get there, so there is no penalty for not showing up if the weather is bad. Ask you lodging place for discount coupons.
