Surcharge Free ATM's

In NJ we have Wawa%26#39;s which are little food stores but they have ATM%26#39;s that dont charge you a fee no matter what bank you belong to. I was wondering if there was anything like this in boston.

Surcharge Free ATM's

We have the ';SUM'; network if you belong to ';SUM'; then no service fees or charges. Look for the sticker on the ATM, Some banks in the ';NYCE'; network does not charge fees. Check with your bank and ask them to give you a locator on which ATM%26#39;s use can use that are fee free with your bank card. You can always go to a place like CVS and get cash-back with a debit card after a small purchase. I know CVS allows a $35.00 cash back.

Surcharge Free ATM's

Just a reminder: many ATMs located inside convenience stores and grocery stores have extra surcharges. Definitely check your bank%26#39;s ATM locator on their web site. You should be able to type in a city or zip code to get the closest ATMs.

Like the previous poster said the SUM ATM network(for independant banks and credit unions) is great to get surcharge free withdrawals if you belong to one of the member banks.

I don%26#39;t think the Wawa stores are up this way. Did enjoy shopping at one on a recent trip to Virginia.

Thanks guys i heard the CVS on milk street had surcharge free atms so i guess ill check that out thanks again.

Instead of driving yourself nuts to save the $2 or $3 ATM fee, here%26#39;s a way to minimize those costs. Instead of taking small amounts out at a time and paying the surcharge each time, take out $200 or $300 at a time when you travel. You really go through a lot of cash on trips, so typically it doesn%26#39;t last so long a time. This way, you won%26#39;t have to search every day for an ATM and you%26#39;ll have enough cash to handle any contingencies that come about.
