Seating at The Garden (TD Banknorth)

Greetings All!

I%26#39;m hoping to attend a Celtics playoff game at The Garden next month. Just wondering if anyone has sat in the balcony seats? How%26#39;s the view of the basketball court? Will the players look like ants? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I%26#39;ve sat up there before and the players do look small. It%26#39;s a long way from the court. I had trouble telling whether the ball went in the basket. The view of the court is great. It%26#39;s just that your so high up, it%26#39;s not very enjoyable. On the plus side, just being there during a playoff game would be nice. It%26#39;s a fun building atmosphere wise.

Depends on how many rows up you are. We%26#39;ve sat in the balcony many times. I%26#39;ve been in the Brooks family section and sat in row 15 which is the last row. I was higher than the banners hanging from the rafters. It made me dizzy being that high. My last game I was in row 13. Still way up there. If you can get the first 5 rows it%26#39;s decent. Try to get mid court, not behind the backboard. If you can score a ticket anywhere in the building I%26#39;d go for it. It%26#39;s the playoffs! Go Celtics!

In a situation like a playoff game just being there is so much fun. Unless you want to spring for seats and pay big bucks go for it. We were in row 7 last time in the balcony,(307) end of court. Obviously not a close up view but we could see all the action and used the Jumbotron as well.
