I will be in Falmouth the end of June for a bachelorette party. Does anyone have a recommendation for a fun casual place to go out for dinner with a large group (10 - 15 of us), and any recommendations for anywhere to go with any type of bar scene? We are all in our late 20%26#39;s - early 30%26#39;s if that makes a difference. Thanks!
Falmouth - fun dining and bar suggestions?
I suggest heading over to the British Beer Company for food, drink, entertainment and an overall good time. It%26#39;s right across the street from the beach too.

Falmouth - fun dining and bar suggestions?I%26#39;ll take recommendations anywhere from Falmouth to Hyannis! Looks like we%26#39;ll have transportation to take us thru that part of the cape. Thanks!
Ok, the British Beer Company in Hyannis too, lol. And also the Roo Bar there. There%26#39;s enough on Main Street Hyannis to keep you girls happy.
I think the RooBar in Hyannis might have been sold, but there is still one located on Main Street in Falmouth. Also in Falmouth is the Boat House Restaurant and Lounge on Scranton Ave. This place get%26#39;s pretty wild after dinnertime.
Great, thanks for the recommendations, if anyone has others, please keep them coming!
How about dinner? Any suggestions for that?
Definitely check out the Roo Bar on Main st. in Falmouth. I hear (but haven%26#39;t been) that after the dining room closes at 10:00, the Landfall bar is pretty wild, lots of locals and summer people.
I can rec. a few hot spots for you and your friends when visiting Falmouth having lived there most of my life. The best food is at an Italian rest. called La Cucina. the food is awesome and you can have a table of 12 or so, although it would be tight. The Roo Bar has a new chef and it is not as good as it once was but it is a cool place for drinks- but pricey. You might try the Firefly for a large table. The food is good and it is decorated very hip. Liam Maguires, an Irish pub has good food and music and can accommodate you and your large group. The Quarterdeck as excellant food and local fare. Try a stiffed quahopg and lobster salad(ask for it on the Portuguese bread, not stuffed in a tomato. British Beer is in a good location but it is a bit stanky, if you ask me. Nearby and on the watre is the Casino which has an amazing view but the food is iffy. Have a drink there, though. In Woods HOle explore all the restaurants and and around. Food is good at Cap%26#39;t Kidd, Phusion Grill, and Leeside. I would avoid the Landfall.
Finally, you MUST go to the Flying Bridge on Falmouth Harbor. It has a great deck on the water and the food is decant.
When shopping Main Street check out Bojangles- an eclectic gift shop and clothing boutique as well as Twigs, Homespun Gardens and Inkwell Bookstore.
Where are you staying? Maybe I can help with that, too. Planning on sunbathing? You must go to Old Silver Beach and have a drink at the bar at the Seacrest- right on the water!
Dancing at Grumpy%26#39;s ( a blue%26#39;s bar) is fun or the Beach House in North Falmouth(avoid the food).
Have fun!!
The Roo Bar (the original Roo Bar by the way) is still alive and kicking in Hyannis. It is a fun spot...stop in and say hi to Jodie behind the Bar. I would higly recommend Trader Ed%26#39;s...which is right on the Harbor in Hyannnis. It is THE place to go...and late June it will just be starting to ';smoke'; as they say. Go there if it is a nice day...weather is EVERYTHING at Trader%26#39;s. http://www.tradereds.com/
have fun, don%26#39;t drive, and go CRAZY!
Chip
For what it%26#39;s worth, I talked to my sister last night. She lives in Falmouth and said she really likes Firefly for dinner.
Thank you for the recommendations everyone! I%26#39;ll be able to plan our weekend out well with these!
