Hey guys,
My wife and I are looking to extend our business stay with a few nights on the Cape. Many friends have suggested new seabury, but they seem to be just a bit our of our budget for a quick three nights. I want to play a great golf course and she wants to lay out and go to quaint shops. We will be in town the second weekend in June 08. Any thoughts?
3 night stay; need help first timerWhat%26#39;s your budget? Do you have a preference for resort, B+B, hotel, motel? I posted a rather complete list of golf courses a while back. Check this post out for locations.

If you decide to stay on the outer cape in the National Seashore check out Fort Hill Bed and Breakfast...our favorite. www.forthillbedandbreakfast.com They are a small, award- winning bed and breakfast with ocean views inside the National Park. But if that does not suite you, you should not have difficulty finding the perfect lodging! We choose Eastham because it is between Chatham and Provincetown, both nice day trips and it is the ';Gateway to the National Seashore'; Great beaches, lots of places for fine dining, boutique shopping nearby and not as crowded or commercial as the mid and upper cape areas. But if you are looking to be in a village setting look at Chatham. You will pay dearly for a resort like Chatham Bars Inn or the Waquasett Inn but there are some nice motels and B+B%26#39;s in town
3 night stay; need help first timerI%26#39;ll throw my two cents in and recommend the Bayside Resort in West Yarmouth. Excellent place to stay and it has real good golf package deals.

Golf and the beach? And shops and great restaurants? Go to Chatham, of course!
Check out The Wayside Inn and its ';sister property'; The Bradford Inn, both in Chatham. Gorgeous and close to everything but still charming. The Bradford Inn, on Cross Street, doesn%26#39;t welcome kids under 12. Both properties have pools and are a walk to a beach (Oyster Pond: more little kids than not or Lighthouse Beach, with its gorgeous vistas)
The entire Cape, from bow to stern is going to be a busy mess all summer, no avoiding it, so you might as well base yourself someplace where you can actually walk to shops and restaurants. Chatham meets this need.
You have to fight the traffic on Route 6 (the absolute busiest road on the entire Cape) everytime you leave the Fort Hill area.

Golf course and accommodations? How about Ocean Edge in Brewster? Terrific shops and galleries right on 6A from Brewster, through Dennis and continuing west.
Thank you for all of your responses. I ended up renting a beach villa in New Seabury Maushop Village. Now, i just need to know the must do%26#39;s. I know Raw bar is a must what is a few others for shops and great food?
