Silly question about drug stores/pharmacies in Boston

This is an incredibly silly question, I know, but I was wondering if there are any drug store/pharmacy type places near the Omni Park hotel. Obviously, I won%26#39;t be able to take things like a razor on the airplane, but I%26#39;ll need one so my legs don%26#39;t look like a wooly mammoth%26#39;s and I end up scaring everyone in Boston. ;)

In the part of Michigan where I live, you can%26#39;t go a mile without hitting a CVS, Kroger, Walgreens, or something like that.

Thanks for answering this silly question! :)

You will see a lot of CVS%26#39;s, there are more than 10 CVS%26#39;s less than a one mile walk from your hotel!

Fantastic! Thanks for the quick reply! :)

Not to discourage you from making the most of CVS, but you can take razors on the plane. I don%26#39;t know about the old fashion ones that have removable blades, but all the disposable ones are just fine. Also, I%26#39;ll bet the Parker House has amenities at the desk for people who forget the essentials, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste and such. Most hotels do.

Hi,

There are three CVS stores within two blocks of your hotel. The desk staff there can point you in the right direction.

Really?! Hmmm...The security at Detroit Metro must be tighter than other places. They wouldn%26#39;t let us take anything like that in our carry-ons when we flew in December. I%26#39;ll have to do some investigating on that matter. Thanks for the tip! :)

Sunshine...

You can%26#39;t take the razors on the plane in carry-on luggage, but in checked baggage, you are OK. For the liquids, remember the 3-1-1 rule...

3 oz liquids in a one qt ziptop bag, not to exceed one per traveler.

Sorry, I work for the military and I send passengers on planes every day, and we have to follow the same regs as TSA.

Kevin

Thanks, Kevin!

I actually have a kit I bought at Linens %26#39;n Things that has little containers that all fit into a one quart sized clear bag. It%26#39;s perfect!

Thanks, everyone, for your replies! :)
