I booked with airtran for a flight that leaves boston at 10:00 stops in OH and leaves to Orlando arriving at 2:30. I should have waited because now they have a flight leaves boston nonstop at 9:30 for the same price.
Its not worth paying the 75.00 per person to switch over to that earlier flight but I was wondering if it is possible to see if I can get on that flight for the same price when I am at the airport.
As this is my first time flying I don%26#39;t really know about these policies. If there is room on that flight will they except these requests at no charge?? any insight on this would be extremley helpful.
Thank You.
Flight is on september 3rd
Question regarding Airtran and possibly flight changeYou need to call Airtran and ask them as different airlines have different rules. I know JetBlue will put you on the next earliest flight at no charge, but I know that Delta will charge you $25 to do it.
If there is availability, they%26#39;ll put you on the earlier flight, though you won%26#39;t have your choice of seats (so if there are several of you traveling, you may not get to sit together), you%26#39;ll just get whatever is available.
Question regarding Airtran and possibly flight changeI%26#39;d repost this on the air/travel forum. The folks on there know all the ins-and outs of air travel and would know...
Flights are so booked now (many totally sold out) I don%26#39;t know how much luck you%26#39;ll have getting an open seat. Call the airline or scour their web site to find the ticket changing policies.
