My husband would like to go to Gloucester for Fathers%26#39; Day. He is interested in being near the water and likes good food (who doesn%26#39;t)? Can anyone recommend a resturant with a view and good food?

I can. Check out The Rudder Restaurant on Rocky Neck Road. It%26#39;s on a peninsula that juts out into Gloucester%26#39;s Inner Harbor. Great water views. The food is very good. They use Brandt Beef, so don%26#39;t shy away from ordering a steak if you don%26#39;t feel like seafood. The building itself is very old. I think it%26#39;s got some history to it, but I don%26#39;t know the story. Something about the famous ';fisherman behind the wheel'; statue in Gloucester. Anyways, there%26#39;s a dock that leads up to it where boats can pull in and tie up.

What type of food does your husband like? Latitude 43 opened recently with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The menu is extensive and they even have a sushi bar.

We%26#39;re taking Dh to Duckworths for Father%26#39;s Day-- the food and service is excellent.
