The one that I am familiar with and where we used to rent before we bought our bikes is the one in Dennis. It is on the east side of the street just a little south of Patriot Square. This where the Trail begins and it goes east from there. You can start anywhere that you can rent a bike.
Is the Holley Tree a time share? I never heard of it but you are going to be located right next to Hyannis and that is why I suggested that you read the input that folks gave the other poster who asked if Hyannis was for them. If you read back through this board you%26#39;ll certainly find lots to do and recommendations for good restaurants too.
Also, when you arrive on the Cape you%26#39;ll find an information house on Hwy. 6 between the Hyannis and Yarmouth exits. Pick up some literature there and chat with the staff with any questions that you have. There%26#39;s more than enough things to do to suit all of you. Enjoy.
Hello CapeCodCharlie%26lt; I%26#39;ve been reading your post responses, I have a few questions for you also,if you don%26#39;t mind. My family and I are going this weekend with another family, and we will probably rent bikes as well, the bike shop that you mentioned Barbara%26#39;s, which town is that in ? Do you know anything about the holley Tree resort Hotel in West Yarmouth, is it nearby to all the other things you';ve talked about? I guess I%26#39;m a bit nervous , it%26#39;s my first time to Cape Cod and bringing another family. the whole trip is my idea.

I wouldn%26#39;t be at all nervous about taking everyone to the Cape. Your all going to have a great time. The Holly Tree is right on Main Street in West Yarmouth. I think Charlie made a mistake by sticking this on the Dennisport Forum, but no big deal. The Holly Tree has everything you need...plenty to keep the kids busy with an indoor pool, game room, indoor basketball and raquetball courts, hot tub for the adults and a very good restaurant called the Keltic Kitchen. All that and you haven%26#39;t even left the property yet. Besides biking the Rail Trail, you have mini golf places galore like Putters Paradise and Pirate%26#39;s Cove. Main Street Hyannis is only 2 miles down the road for shopping and more restaurant options. If you had more time, I would recommend a ferry ride from Hyannis to Martha%26#39;s Vineyard for the day, but you%26#39;ll be plenty busy on the mainland. Easbound takes you to South Yarmouth, Dennisport, Harwich and on to Chatham. Chatham is a very lively town and might be worth a trip if you have the time. A trip up the National Seashore should also be on your list. There%26#39;s really so much to do and see that it%26#39;s impossible to see everything during a short 3 day stay. The only downside is coming on Memorial Day weekend. The weather forecast looks sunny which is great, but expect some slow traffic here and there along route 28. Getting over the bridge onto the Cape is the only thing I would be nervous about. Friday is backed up sometimes 8-10 miles getting to the Bourne Bridge. I don%26#39;t know what your travel schedule is, but late afternoon into the evening is the worst for getting over the bridge. Same problem leaving the Cape on Monday. I consider it a minor inconvienence for getting to enjoy the Cape for the weekend. So, stop worrying and be prepared to have a good time. I%26#39;m sure your first trip to the Cape won%26#39;t be your last.
