Fenway Park

How far from Lenox Hotel Boston 710 Boylston Street, Boston walking distance to Fenway Park for a night game, is it safe when the game finish to walk back to Hotel?

Fenway Park

That%26#39;s easily walkable in under half an hour. And yes, it is safe. You%26#39;ll have lots of company after the game.

Thank You so much AlanM!

My wife and I will be vacationing in Boston the end of July celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and are planning on catching the Red Sox and A%26#39;s one night. I know they are sold out but are ticket%26#39;s usually for sale by scalpers or are they in short supply or priced 50% or more above face value? Would we be better off going through a ticket broker like stub hub or some local broker someone could recommend?

Thanks for any help.

osujohn,

I would recommend getting your tickets through one of the agencies. The A%26#39;s are in town Friday-Sunday which usually means ticket demand will be high. The benefit of getting them this way would be that they are GUARANTEED legitimate tickets whereas buying from a scalper may or may not be legit tickets. The ballpark is always hopping on the weekends in the summer, so I%26#39;m not sure if you would save any money buying from a scalper the day of the game anyways. I would buy them now before prices start to climb and then relax knowing you have your tickets and you%26#39;ll definitely be seeing a game. You can plan on spending at least double the ticket price and even higher depending on the seat location. For a first time visitor to Fenway, I would go for the cheaper bleacher seats and just enjoy the atmosphere inside the park. If you do go the safe but expensive route, get them from stubhub or acetickets. Good luck and enjoy Boston.
