Cape Cod advice please

Hi,

We are planning to go to Cape Cod (first timers)for a long weekend the first weekend of June. We would like to find a hotel located near the beach and bike paths (walking distance would be great). We have a three years old and would like a quiet hotel at reasonable price(I know, it is Cape Cod!!). Also, any recommendation about things a 3 y.o might love to do there (other than the beach? I read the forum and some people talk about a pirate cruise and a children museum?)? Thanks for your help!

Cape Cod advice please

The Inn on the Square is the closest hotel to the Shining See bikepath in Falmouth.

http://www.innonthesquare.com/. It is right next to a bike shop that rents. Also, it is across from an excellent coffee shop and restaurant.

Another choice for you on the beach and near the bike path would be the Beach Breeze Inn

http://www.beachbreezeinn.com/ or the family friendly Shoreway Acres.

In Woods Hole, at the end of the bike path, you will find the Nat%26#39;l Marine Fisheries aquarium with it%26#39;s seal pool and touch tank so your 3 yr old can handle small hermit crabs and fish. Also, check out Ocean Quest

http://www.oceanquest.org/schools/

The C C Childrens Museum is in Mashpee, about 15 minutes away.

Being in Falmouth, you can take the Island Queen

http://www.islandqueen.com/ to Martha%26#39;s Vineyard and take the little one on the oldest carousel in the nation. It is called Flying Horses. You can even try to catch the brass ring! You will love the gingerbread houses there in the village of Oak Bluffs, where the Island Queen docks.

While in Falmouth be sure to check out the movies in the park on Wed. nights and the free band concerts on Thursday and Friday nites. Visit Eight Cousins Children Bookstore on Main Street- famous among teachers throughout America.
