Hi, my husband and i are thinking of taking an escorted tour around New England in early October . We would prefer to fly into Boston and start from there , can anyone recommend a particular company based in the uk, many thanks .

Just curious, why/how would Boston locals know of UK companies that offer escorted tours of New England?

Have you asked travel agents in the UK?

And Boston, excuse me if I%26#39;m wrong! :-) I%26#39;m sure you can recommend tour companies in BOSTON, but are they based in the UK??? lol.

The Boston forum is ready by people from all over the world, not just people who live in or near Boston.

I don%26#39;t think madhair%26#39;s wish to hear about a UK-based tour operator is unreasonable at all, especially since there are so many UK residents who read TA, the Boston forum, and have visited Boston.

Madhair, I don%26#39;t happen to know the answer to your question, but I%26#39;m hopeful there%26#39;s a Brit or two reading this forum who can assist you.

I know there%26#39;s a Brit native on the Vermont forum who uses the name Innvic who might be able to help, she runs an Inn up there, and may know UK-based tour operators. I%26#39;d suggest you send her an e-mail.

My apologies, I didn%26#39;t think it out! And, yes, I do know that here, I could get a tour of England booked through a travel agent, and probably on my own too, (though neither tour would be based from here)...

...and New England from Vancouver? The same - I would imagine they%26#39;d just hook me up with a tour company in New England, not sponsor a tour. I have a college diploma in travel %26amp; tourism, but it%26#39;s never been much use! (As you can see!) :-)

I%26#39;m not really sure if this is what your looking for. It does offer New England Fall Foliage tours. I believe it%26#39;s UK based.
