Nine Zero Hotel or Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro

Looking for a spot to stay for one night (Sunday) in Boston this August. I%26#39;m originally from MA and familiar with Boston. Will be there after a North Shore wedding and plan to show my in-laws around as they have never been to New England. Freedom Trail is a must. Looking for a nice, convenient spot with character.

I%26#39;ve only stayed at Nine Zero, so they get my vote. It%26#39;s clean and modern, and a stonesthrow to the Common where you can pick up the Freedom Trail.

Well, what kind of character? Olde Towne Beacon Hill character, or hip boutique hotel character? Both locations are equally convenient.

I have stayed at Nine Zero. It was wonderful. Very sleek and contemporary.
