Hourly parking on National Seashore beaches????

Is there parking near any of the National Seashore beaches that I can pay hourly? If possible, I don%26#39;t want to pay the full daily fee sinceI will be there for only a short time (with a young baby). Can someone suggest? Or I%26#39;d be better off with other beaches not on the National Seashore? What are those alternative beaches NOT charging daily parking fee?

Thanks in advance!

Hourly parking on National Seashore beaches????

Hi, this question is covered in several other posts on this forum. No, you cannot park hourly at the NS beaches. Your best bet with a baby is to go late afternoon to one of the town beaches. It really depends on where you are staying. There is quite a bit of helpful info here - look on the forum for beach parking,

A favorite for families with children under 5 is Skaket Beach in Orleans. The bay side is very calm and the walk from car to beach is mere steps (no lugging up and down a steep hill/steps). This is an Orleans town beach. There is a daily fee. But it is truly worth it. Enjoy!

Are you going to be on the Cape for a week? Did you know that you can buy a weekly parking pass? If you do this though you should select the town where you%26#39;ll spend all or most of your beach time as each town sells their own. Alternately, and since you asked abou the Nat. Seashore beaches, you can buy a pass for the year for $45. If anyone in your party is a senior citizen then they can get a lifetime parking pass for $1. for the National Seashore and it is good at the National Parks system all over the US. That person will need to be in the car though.
