Was reading some more trying to get ready for my trip to fenway 6/7. I believe somebody said they have fenway park tours the day of games for roughly $10. is this true? Also, when the park opens, will they let kids try and get close to the field to see batting practice. Our seats are not that close, and I know at some stadiums the ushers won%26#39;t let you in a section unless your seat is in that area. Go Sox!
Fenway batting practice and tour
If your doing a tour game day, be sure to get there super early. The tours end 3.5 hours before game time, so the last tour begins about 4.5 hours before the game.
Batting practice shouldn%26#39;t be a problem. Get inside when the gates open and head down front. The ushers shouldn%26#39;t give you a problem if you have a youngster with you. If you run into a tough usher, go to the next section.

Tours leave on the hour from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 3.5 hours prior to game time. Price is $12 for Adults. Yes you can go right up to the dugout area for batting practice which is two hours before gametime (and when the gates open). At some point you will be shooed out of the section but you%26#39;ll have plenty of time to hang out up front if you get there early.
