My husband and I will be dropping off our kids at camp and need a place to stay between July 6-July 20. We are coming from NYC and need to end up in Nashua NH on the 20th. We are very flexible about where (CT, NH, MA, etc.)but don%26#39;t want to go too far out of our way. Want a place very close (walking distance preferably) to a cute town with good restaurants and shops, a golf course with the driving range, tennis courts, etc. Will do the B%26amp;B route if it is really nice or an inn. Not into a really commercial hotel but would do a resort in a pretty area. Not looking for the most expensive but something really nice for around $200 a night since we are traveling for so long. HELP!!!

need a great resort or inn for a week or 2 in new englandI found the Fox Ridge Resort up in North Conway, NH if your interested. North Conway is a great town in the summer. Lots of tax free shopping and good restaurants. There%26#39;s also plenty of golf courses around as well. The resort has tennis and basketball courts and great mountain views. It%26#39;s in your price range as well. I wouldn%26#39;t expect a grand resort for $200 per night. Here%26#39;s the website if your interested. Good Luck.

I%26#39;d put in a vote for Ogunquit Maine. Beautiful beach, lots of shops, lots of places to walk and see etc. Nearby is Kennebunkport, Kennebunk, and some outlet shopping. I%26#39;ve visited a lot of New England but Ogunquit is one of my favorite places ever. It gets booked up EARLY though, it is very busy in the summer. There are places right on the beach, so if you don%26#39;t get one there are plenty of other places in Ogunquit and even the surrounding towns to stay.
For that long a time frame you could really stay in two (or more) places. Most of the places already mentioned I would think you%26#39;d run out of things to do if you stayed for 2 weeks straight.
