Hello people!
I am seeking a fine jamaican restaurant location in Boston (not sure of the address, I can%26#39;t remember).
I met a guy in Montego Bay a while ago and it was literally %26#39;Atlanta meets Mobay%26#39; (if you know what I mean) and he told me about this place that I should come visit him sometime. I want to try the cuisine and surprise him at the same time. He works there you see.
This is a long shot I know - but would you know him, if so, you may know his restaurant.
Many Jamaicans work at this place. If I could fine out and surprise him, he would not know what hit him.
Thanks for your help.

Hi, I would try posting this on craigslist - on the food discussion page:http://boston.craigslist.org/
JAMAICAN restaurants in Boston - Andrew James (Richie) Chef.
There are a lot of Jamaican restaurants in the Boston area, among them:
Tastee is on River St. in Mattapan, Pepper Pot on Dudley St. in Roxbury, Right Taste on Harvard St., Only One on Norfolk, and Irie on Bowdoin, all in Dorchester.
Do check out the revealing discussion about those culturally rich Boston neighborhoods, currently going on on another thread titled %26#39;African-American neighborhoods%26#39;.
Good luck. Maybe Cupid is looking out for you and you%26#39;ll find him. Let us know.
I personally thought it might be Irie. Tastee has a couple locations. My guess would be that wherever he works, chances are he%26#39;s in the Dorchester section of Boston. Just my guess.
I%26#39;ll throw a couple more out there:
Ortanique, Cambridge
Something Savory, Arlington
What%26#39;s your favorite thing on the menu at Irie, Will?
I%26#39;m not personally aquainted w/ any of the restaurants mentioned, but you might try looking/posting at the chowhound.com site.
